Terms and abbreviations you might see from time to time on the stockpicks site

  • TL - Trend line. A line often joining highs with other highs on a chart as resistance or a line joining lows with other lows to form a single line as support.
  • LT - Long term.
  • MT - Medium term.
  • ST - Short term.
  • IHS - Inverse head and shoulders.  A chart pattern usually signalling a bottom and the start of upward momentm that resembles the head and shoulders of a person.
